Philippians 4:19

I hope whoever takes a look at my blog will be just as interested or more interested in the Bible passages as they are in finding out how to save money. Just as the title verse under my blog reads, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 KJV)

We should make it our priority to put God in the center of every aspect of our lives. If we accept Him as our personal Savior and make him number one in our hearts, He will take care of all that we need. Notice the scripture doesn't say that God will supply all your wants. He will supply all that you need in order to live.

A classic example of God supplying needs in the Bible is in 1 Kings 17:7-24 when God told Elijah to go stay at Zarephath where He had commanded a widow to supply Elijah with food. Elijah came upon the widow at the town gate where she was gathering sticks. He first asked her for a drink of water and then asked her for a piece of bread. The widow told Elijah she only had a handful of flour and a little oil left in a jar and she was gathering sticks to take home so she could make a meal for her and her son so they might eat it and die because they would have run out of food. Elijah asked her to go on ahead and do as she had planned but to first make him a small cake of bread from what she had. She did as Elijah had said and was able to make food for her and her son, as well as Elijah, every day without her flour and oil running out. God gave her a constant supply.

God will abundantly supply your needs; you need only to completely put your trust in Him to do so!
