Luke 1:37

"For with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37 (KJV)
I feel like I have writer's block tonight and even though I tried to write about other verses, I always seemed to come back to this one.
The more and more I think about it, I just have a difficult time understanding why it is so hard for some people to put their trust in God. Sure, you can't physically see him and "seeing is believing" for some, but how can you look in the mirror each morning and really not see Him? How could you bring a life into this world and not see Him? How can you walk outside each day and not see Him? How can you watch the sun rise and set and not see Him? How can you watch a storm brewing (just like right now for me) and not see Him? HE IS EVERYWHERE. HIS WORKS ARE EVERYWHERE. He created us in His image. He created us to produce life. He created all the beautiful things on this earth - the sun, moon, stars, sky, seas, and mountains. He provided all we would need to live off of. If you actually take the time to really look at all that He has created, I don't understand how you cannot be in awe of God and His mighty power. And if you believe He created all these things, then you know the word "can't" isn't in His vocabulary. There is nothing too hard for Him. He has proven this time and again. To show He could do the impossible, He sent His only son Jesus to be born of a virgin, and this son would later dies for our sins.
You may be going through troubled times and have lost hope. You or a loved one may be suffering from a terminal illness. You may be dealing with financial issues. You may be all alone and feel as if the world would be better off without you. Never be afraid to put your trust in God. You are never alone when you are trusting in Him, and there is no situation that He can't handle. Just turn all your worries over to Him today.
